I have been reading Jane Austen and other 19th century authors in the hopes of strengthening some weaknesses in my character. I finally had a breakthrough with Louisa May Alcott's "Little Women" - Transcendentalism in action. Seeing all those sisters caring about each other so intensely finally got me into the swing of things and I was able to enjoy other people for a few days.

I had to watch the 1945 movie, read the book, then watch the 1995 movie before it kicked in, though. :-)
