My non-native English speaker friend made a pretty subtle grammar mistake:

The Bugzilla_Bug_1246.cfusion.war.zip has been moved in cfmx.ear folder on staging, Please check and let's know if it worked.

Grammar Nazis will tell you that "let's" is just a contraction of "let us" but they are wrong - it's really the difference between "shall we" and "will you":

Please check and let's know if it worked, shall we?

vs.

Please check and let us know if it worked, will you?

Each is asking permission, but when contracted together, the asker is grouping themselves with the one they are asking.
